It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Loganair ATR72-600 taking off from Dublin Airport as it heads back to the United Kingdom.
Loganair operates a fleet of nine ATR72-600 in its regional fleet. The airline also operates ATR42-500, ATR42-600, Britten-Norman Islander, de Havilland Canada Dash 6-310 Twin Otter, de Havilland Canada Dash 6-400 Twin Otter and Embraer ERJ-145 in its fleet.
These aircraft provide regional links across the UK, Ireland and Europe
This aircraft – G-LMTC – initially joined Airlinar in July 2015, making this aircraft around 9 and a half years old at the time of writing. From there, it joined the centralised Air France Hop fleet in April 2016. The aircraft was stored in February 2020. Finally, it joined Loganair in January 2022, with the aircraft remaining in the ownership of Norwegian Air Capital.
It’s had a quiet festive period, operating from its Aberdeen home to Liverpool, Southampton, Dublin and Sumburgh.
More Airplane Art next week!
