It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Emirates Airbus A380 taxiing at London Heathrow Airport as it prepares to head home to Dubai.
Emirates has an active fleet of 102 Airbus A380s, which are supported by Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A350-900s in long-haul operations.
This aircraft – A6-EVD – joined the Emirates fleet in July 2019, with its first flight in April 2018. Thus, this aircraft is just over six and a half years old. It joined Emirates directly from Airbus. It operates in the airline’s four-class configuration with First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class seating options.
It’s currently active, flying from its home of Dubai International on Emirates trunk routes, including Houston Intercontinental, London Heathrow, Sydney, Sao Paulo and Mumbai.
More Airplane Art next week!
