It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a TAROM Boeing 737-700 in SkyTeam house colours arriving at its home base of Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport.
TAROM has an active fleet of four Boeing 737-700s. The airline also operates the Boeing 737-800, ATR72-500 and ATR72-600 in its fleet. The airline is due to receive Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft during 2025.
These aircraft connect Romania to Europe and beyond.
This aircraft – YR-BGF is known as Braila. It joined the airline from the Boeing factory in March 2001. It has remained in the TAROM fleet since then, with it parked between September 2022 and October 2023.
As it operates across Europe and beyond from its home at Bucharest Airport it has been busy, it has flow to Frankfurt, Rome-Fiumicino, Maastricht, Tel Aviv, Brussels National, Timisoara, Istanbul, Cluj-Napoca, Madrid, Beirut, Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Prague
