It seems Delta Air Lines is planning a new route starting this upcoming winter season – this time Marrakech, Morocco.

It marks an expansion of Delta’s African network, with the airline planning to operate the route between Atlanta and Marrakech.
The new route will start on the 25th October 2025. The Atlanta-Marrakech flight will operate three-times-weekly on a Boeing 767-400ER, featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
In conjunction with the new route, Delta will also be adding a seasonal service from Atlanta to Accra, Ghana, beginning 1st December 2025, to meet peak winter demand. This new service will complement the existing daily year-round operation between New York-JFK and Accra.
Following the debut of the Airbus A330-900neo on the New York – Accra route last October, the same aircraft type will now also operate on the Atlanta route, offering an elevated onboard experience featuring Delta One Suites and next-generation comfort across all cabins.

Just remember – printed boarding passes are needed
With Delta adding service to Marrakesh, there is one important thing you need to remember when checking in and passing security – you will need a printed boarding pass.
This can be a boarding pass printed from home, at a hotel or by the airline at the airport.
You will also need to go through a document check process as well before clearing security, so you will need to allow extra time at the airport when you travel.
Otherwsie, an interesting addition to the Delta network
