It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER in plain white, with large Star Alliance billboard titles as it is resting at its home base of Singapore Changi Airport between duties in the dark of a Singaporean night.
Singapore Airlines operates a fleet of 22 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its widebody fleet, which are used on its long-haul network based out of Changi Airport.
The airline operates a variety of aircraft in its widebody fleet including the Airbus A350-900/900ULR, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200 and Boeing 787-10.
As for this aircraft – 9V-SWM – joined the airline in February 2008, making it a 17-year old aircraft at the time of writing. It is currently active within the Singapore Airlines fleet, operating out of its Singapore Changi home to Tokyo-Narita, Tokyo-Haneda, Los Angeles, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Auckland.
More airplane art next week!
