We’ve come to the end of March. As the clocks prepare to jump forward (well, at least in Europe and the UK), it’s time to look back on a slightly less than busy week at Economy Class and Beyond.
Cherry Blossoms – somewhere near my home in Birmingham

- London City Airport welcomes its largest aircraft yet – The Embraer E195-E2 by Helvetic Airways – Because size matters.

The Business of Aviation

Passenger Experience
Multi-Modal connections
- Star Alliance and ÖBB signs for Air+Rail Connectivity in Austria – Adding more multi-modal options for travellers who don’t want to reach for a car when they get to their destination
Pretty Pictures
- Brussels Airlines unveils its latest Belgian Icon – The Atomium – Very Belgian.

And don’t forget clocks for Europe and UK jump forward one hour at 01:00 on Sunday.
Next Week
I’m going to try and push out some passenger experience highlights (or lowlights) from my recent Chicago Trip, as the trip report will be a few weeks off, as we ramp down from Chicago and up to Hamburg, as the passenger experience train doesn’t stop here.
We’ve also got our AIX Pages up at long last – so if you want to meet in Hamburg, you might want to contact me sooner rather than later, as we’re getting a lot of requests this year.
Until next week when I’m panic-packing, happy landings!
