It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Qantas Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner resting at Heathrow Airport as it awaits towing back to Terminal 3 for the return flight to Perth and Sydney.
Qantas operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 787-9s in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A380 in this side of the operation.
These aircraft connect Australia to destinations across the world from Qantas’s hubs.
This aircraft – VH-ZNH is named the Great Barrier Reef. It joined the Qantas fleet in November 2018 and has remained in it since then. It operates in a three-class configuration with Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class.
The aircraft has been active recently operating out of its Sydney home to Auckland, New York, Honolulu, Perth, Paris, and London Heathrow.
More Airplane Art next week!
