Time to turn our eyes to Mongola, where the first Embraer E195-E2 has landed, with it planned to operate for Hunnu Air.
This marks the first of two Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which have been delivered by Azorra to Hunnu Air, marking a new partnership for the lessor and the first E2 to operate in Mongolia.
The E195-E2 delivered from Azorra’s firm orderbook with Embraerwill support Hunnu Air as it grows its fleet and expands its route network to key destinations across Asia-Pacific, offering greater capacity and longer-range capability.
Hunnu Air has had this aircraft configured in a 12 Business Class Seats and 120 economy class seats configuration.

A continued push
The delivery also marks Azorra contained attempts to push into the leasing market in Asia – itself a major lessor of Embraer aircraft .
The lessor is continuing to work with Embraer to strengthen the E2’s presence in Asia, having previously delivered the region’s first E2 aircraft to Scoot in April 2024.
With the flexibility of the E195-E2 (being able to fly long missions with a high payload of up to 146 passengers), along with Hunnu Air’s prior knowledge and experience of the operating the Emberaer E190, it should slot into the fleet’s operations well and serve its customer base.
