It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an easyJet Switzerland Airbus A320 at Hamburg Airport as it prepares to head home to Basel Airport.
easyJet Switzerland is a Swiss-based franchisee of the easyJet brand, with easyJet owning 49% of the airline. It operates a fleet of 23 Airbus A320 and 7 Airbus A320neo aircraft in its short-to-medium haul network.
The easyJet Group itself operates the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo.
The aircraft shown today is HB-JZZ. It joined easyJet initially in March 2010 as G-EZTU and was re-assigned to the Swiss Registry in November 2011. Being a short-haul aircraft, it is extensively used from its Basel home, operating to Heraklion, Agadir, Larnaca, Bastia, Barcelona, Edinburgh, Pristina, Hamburg, Marrakesh, Djerba, Palma de Mallorca, Copenhagen and Athens.
More Airplane Art next week!
