It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Etihad Airways Airbus A350-1000 climbing out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it begins the long trip back to Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Etihad Airways operates a fleet of six Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A380, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
These aircraft connect Etihad’s hub at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi to destinations across the world.
This aircraft – A6-XWA – joined the Etihad Airways fleet in July 2022; however, it first flew in May 2019. Thus, this aircraft is coming up to its sixth birthday in the sky. It has been operating out of its base in Abu Dhabi to Delhi and Tortono. However, it hasn’t flown a segment in the past few days.
More Airplane Art next week!
