It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a SWISS International Air Lines Airbus taxiing at Bucharest Henri Coandă Airport as it completes its journey from Switzerland.
SWISS operates a fleet of 18 active Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The airline also operates the smaller A220-100 as well as the larger Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo in its single-aisle fleet.
Together, these aircraft connect the cantons of Switzerland to Europe and beyond, as well as providing feed into SWISS’s intercontinental network.
This aircraft, HB-JCJ, is named Rütli. It was initially delivered to SWISS Global Airlines in March 2018. It became a constituent of the main airline in April 2018. It remains active at the time of writing. The aircraft is based between Geneva and Zurich, operating in recent days to Porto, London Heathrow, Oslo, Málaga, Marrakesh, Berlin, Lisbon, Nice and Hamburg.
More Airplane Art Next Week!
