Qatar Airways bumps up its Doha-Dublin operation to 17 flights a week

It seems there’s a lot of interest in Dublin with airlines, with Qatar Airways bumping up their services to the city.

The airline will increase its services to Dublin (which currently has 14 flights a week) to 17 flights a week.

The updated flights include:

QR045 DEPART DUB 21:15 ARRIVE DOH 07:10
Commences 2nd Deember 2025
Booked Equipment: Varies (Widebody)
Current services operate as timetable

Qatar Airways does vary the equipment on this route, with most flights being operated either with a 787 of some kind (either a 787-9 or 787-8), with the occasional visit of a Boeing 777-300ER. It’ll be important to check – especially if you require QSuites or require high-speed internet on your flight.

The new schedule introduces a morning arrival into Doha, enabling seamless onward connections to Qatar Airways’ newly launched morning flights to Sydney and Melbourne, offering even greater convenience for business and leisure travellers who wish to connect in Doha.

Building out additional capacity

With an extra three flights a week, Qatar Airways is seeking to build on both capacity and frequency at Dublin, with a variety of connection times for travellers (given flights depart at 07:30, 14:30 and now 21:15) to either enjoy Doha or meet the connection banks to whisk them off to other destinations.

And yes, this will include the codeshares with Virgin Austraila too, as Qatar Airways supports their growth.

For travellers, it’s going to mean options.

With others boosting capacity to the Irish capital, there are customers to be picked up and profits to be made.
