With summer 2025 well in swing, American Airlines is planning for next year (2026), with six new routes lined up.
There’s new activity from Dallas, Miami and Philadelphia, with new routes to Europe.

The expanded timetable features more services to Central Europe, as well as extra connectivity for a football-related event. For those heading to Southern Europe, American Airlines has boosted its flights to 18 a week during summer 2026. Meanwhile, Philadelphia will have 20 European-facing departures a day during the summer peak.
More Premium options to Tokyo Haneda
Travellers who have their eyes on a summer getaway to Asia next year will have more options to enhance their journey with increased premium cabin offerings. Compared to summer 2025, American will increase premium seating capacity to Tokyo-Haneda from Dallas-Fort Worth and Los Angeles by more than 45% next summer.

Tickets will be available for purchase on these summer 2026 routes starting 11th August at aa.com, through American’s mobile app or the airline’s usual distribution channels.
