Lufthansa to resume its Munich – Riyadh service

Lufthansa is off to the Middle East, this time connecting Munich with Riyadh.

The resumed service will restart on the 26th October 2025. The planned operations for this route are:

LH640 DEPART MUC 21:45 ARRIVE RUH 04:50+1
LH641 DEPART RUH 06:25 ARRIVE MUC 10:25

Commences: 26th October 2025
Operates: Three times weekly from Munch 
Booked Equipment: Airbus A350-900

Lufthansa will deploy one of its Airbus A350-900 aircraft with a 293-seat configuration, with  48 Business Class, 21 Premium Economy and 224 Economy Class seats.

These timings should give passengers reasonable connections to the global Lufthansa network via the Munich hub (both with inbound services to meet the evening departure and meeting the afternoon departure bank from Munich.

This year, Lufthansa is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its first flight to Saudi Arabia. Together with Eurowings and ITA Airways, the group will be flying to Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. These three Lufthansa Group airlines will offer their passengers a total of 22 weekly departures to Saudi Arabia in future.

In total, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group fly to the region more than 120 times a week.
