It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Airbus A350-900 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare, as it completes the long trip from Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines operates a fleet of 29 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 in its widebody operation. These aircraft connect Istanbul and Turkey to the world.
This aircraft is registered as TC-LGO. It joined the Turkish Airlines fleet in November 2023 and has remained with the carrier since then.
The aircraft has remained active recently, operating out of its Istanbul Airport home to medium to long haul routes, including Bucharest, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Panama City, Bogota, Jakarta and Beirut.
