Alaska Airlines is preparing to adopt SpaceX’s Starlink connectivity platform to allow for high-speed connectivity.
Starlink connectivity – coming soon to Alaska Airlines fleet, including the Boeing 787-9 – Rendering, Alaska Airlines.
The move builds on Hawaiian Airlines’ lead as an early adopter of fast, free Wi-Fi connectivity.
Alaska Airlines will start offering Starlink in 2026 and bring the technology to its entire fleet by 2027. The Starlink connectivity platform from offers gate-to-gate connectivity, with high bandwidth and low latency, allowing passengers to stream, scroll, game and stay connected across multiple devices, far beyond what most carriers can deliver.
