As we near the end of the summer holidays, companies still want you in the air. Virgin Atlantic is one of them, kicking off their September Sale.

As usual, the airline has offerings for both Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic Holidays.  This promotion is running between 21st August and 30th September 2025 for travel up to 30th June 2026.

For those looking for discounted flights, the airline highlights the following out of Heathrow:

London Heathrow Departures Per-person fares in Economy Light from
USA
New York £385
Boston £392
Los Angeles £420
Tampa £435
Washington DC £487
Orlando £493
North America
Toronto £399
Cancun £534
Middle East
Dubai £451
Caribbean
Antigua £489
Barbados £529
Grenada £579

As you can see, there’s a lot to be had, with the new route to Cancun being offered (commencing 19th October 2025). In addition, seasonal services to Dubai, Cape Town, and the Maldives will also restart in October, offering even more choice for travellers looking to swap colder days for sunshine escapes.

Traditional sale destinations in North America and the Caribbean are also on offer.

As these are Economy Light Fares, you’ll need to spend extra if you want convenient things such as luggage and advance seat assignment.

Ticketing is open at https://www.virginatlantic.com/sale.

Meanwhile, Virgin Atlantic Holidays has various offers too, if you want more of a complete trip. Highlights include

  • New York from £629pp staying for 3 nights at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel in a Standard King Room on a Room Only basis.
  • Maldives from £1,435pp staying for 7 nights at Eriyadu Island Resort in a Seaview Sky Room Double with speedboat transfer on a Full Board basis.
  • Jamaica from £1,199pp  staying for 7 nights at Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort in a Garden View Room (2 Doubles) on an All-Inclusive basis.
  • Kissimmee from £649pp staying for 7 nights at Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee by the Parks in a Standard Room on a Room Only basis.

Prices are per person based on two adults travelling, including all applicable taxes and fuel surcharges, which are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change.

To book, please visit https://www.virginatlantic.com/holidays/sale. Bookings are subject to availability, and standard terms and conditions apply.

Expect others to follow

With Virgin Atlantic kicking off the sale season a little early, others will no doubt be right behind with their sales kicking off soon.

For those who are looking around, these flights may offer some value – providing you ensure you’ve booked the right ticket.

After all, turning up at an airport with checked luggage on a “lite” ticket is one way to ruin the start of any travel experience.
