It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Qantas Boeing 787-9 parked at London Heathrow Airport as it rests between flights, with it due to return to Perth, Western Australia, later that day.
Qantas operates a fleet of 14 Boeing 787-9 in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A330-200, Airbus A3330-300 and Airbus A380 in its widebody operation. These help connect Australia to destinations across the world.
This aircraft – VH-ZNH is named Great Barrier Reef. It was delivered to the Qantas fleet in November 2018 and has remained in operation with it since then.
In recent days, it has operated out of its Perth base in Western Austraila to Sydney, Auckland, New York-JFK, Rome-Fiumicino and London Heathrow.
More Airplane Art Next week!
