It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Scandinavian Airlines (Operated by SAS Connect) Airbus A320neo lined up for departure from Stockholm Arlanda Airport as it heads off on a short to medium-range mission.
SAS Connect (the Irish certificate fleet) of Scandinavian Airlines operates a fleet of 32 Airbus A320neo aircraft. These serve alongside the mainline SAS fleet, which comprises Airbus A319, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321 and Airbus A321LR in its single-aisle fleet.
Together, these link the Scandinavian countries to Europe and beyond (especially in the case of the A321LR).
The aircraft featured this week is EI-SIK – known as Karin Viking. It joined the SAS Connect fleet in May 2022, where it has remained for the past three years or so. It has recently operated from its Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen bases to Nice, Faro, Milan, Manchester, Gdansk, Lulea, Edinburgh, Umea, London-Heathrow, Dublin and Rhodes.
More Airplane Art next week!
