It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a United Airlines Airbus A320 climbing out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport as it heads off on a short-haul mission.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 71 Airbus A320 aircraft in its short to medium-haul fleet. The airline also operates Airbus A319, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737-8 MAX, Boeing 737-9 MAX, Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 757-300 in its single-aisle mainline fleet.
Together, these connect destinations far and wide across the United Airlines network.
This aircraft – N434UA joined the United Airlines fleet in April 1996, with it around 29 and a half years old at the time of writing. Currently, the aircraft is based at Denver, Houston and San Francisco, operating to Dallas, Vancouver, Albuquerque, Omaha, St. Louis, Rapid City, San Antonio, Houston-Intercontinental, Mexico City, Nashville, Seattle, Midland, Oklahoma City, Syracuse, Eugene, Tucson, Puerto Vallarta, Burbank, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Detroit, Reno, Ontario, Santa Barbara, Memphis, Jackson, Fresno, Austin, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City and San Jose.
