It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 787-8 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare as it completes its journey from Warsaw.
LOT Polish Airlines operates a fleet of eight Boeing 787-8 aircraft in its long-haul fleet. They share long-haul duties with the larger Boeing 787-9, which the airline also operates in its widebody operation. The airline also has a Boeing 777-200ER on lease from EuroAtlantic.
LOT was also the first European operator of the Boeing 787 family.
They help connect Warsaw and Katowice to the world.
This aircraft – SP-LRC – joined the LOT fleet in May 2013, with the aircraft coming up to its 13th anniversary of its first flight. Recently, the aircraft has been operating out of Katowice, operating to Phu Quoc, Bangkok, Phuket, Cancun and Punta Cana, supporting the airline’s winter sun network
