It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a British Airways Boeing 787-9 parked at London Heathrow as it is unloaded and prepared for its next journey.
British Airways operates a fleet of 16 Boeing 787-9 in its widebody fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
They’re used across the British Airways network, operating long-haul services for the airline.
This aircraft – G-ZBKS – was delivered to British Airways in May 2018. It is based out of the airline’s Heathrow hub, recently operating to long-haul destinations including Tokyo-Haneda, Singapore, New Orleans, Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi and Mumbai.
