Emirates to deploy an Airbus A350 to Montréal, Canada

After a fresh order of Airbus A350-900s at the Dubai Air Show, Emirates is continuing its fleet deployment, with the next destination to feature the type being Montréal.

Montréal will be the first destination in Emirates Americas’ network to receive its latest aircraft type. The aircraft will commence operations on the 1st February 2026, taking over the existing Boeing 777 aircraft used on the route.

Planned operations are as follows:

EK243 DEPART DXB 02:45 ARRIVE YUL 07:35
EK244 DEPART YUL 10:40 ARRIVE DXB 08:00+1

Booked Equipment: Emirates Airbus A350-900

Emirates has configured its Airbus A350 in a three-class configuration, with  32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats.

The deployment of Emirates’ A350 aircraft to Canada and the launch of Premium Economy cabins on this route enhance passenger travel options. For those who prefer a larger aircraft,  Emirates also operates its Airbus A380 aircraft on its daily services to Toronto, covering both of the airline’s Canadian gateways.

Through its codeshare partnership with Air Canada, Emirates customers can access 37 additional points in Canada and the US, from Montréal and Toronto.

Spreading them far and wide

With 13 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its fleet, Emirates is not slouching around with the deployment – rather, it’s getting them into service and earning revenue as fast as possible.

After all, an aircraft sitting on the ground does not earn any money for an airline, especially if the aircraft arrives early, then Emirates will deploy the aircraft earlier on the route.

For passengers, there is a significant experience uplift, with 1-2-1 seating in business class, the option of premium economy seating and wider economy class seats (remember, it’s still a standard 3-3-3 layout in the back of the aircraft, so 18″ seat widths are in play)

If you’re planning to travel on this route, it might be wise to keep an eye on the seat map.
