There’s nothing like a Jet2 Holiday, and this summer, its airline arm – Jet2.com is adding extra flights to Greece from its British bases for this coming summer.

With the additional flights, the airline and tour operator have put nearly  30,000 extra seats on sale to Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Kos and Santorini.

The additional services will operate between July and September 2026 from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted Airports. Breaking down the extra flights to Greece – they look like this:

Birmingham Airport:

  • Crete (Chania) – additional weekly Wednesday services operating from 1st July to 23rd September 2026.
  • Santorini – additional Thursday services operating from 2nd July to 24th September 2026. This is an exclusive Jet2 route.

Leeds Bradford Airport:

  • Kos – additional Saturday services operating from 4th July to 26th September 2026. This is an exclusive Jet2 route.

London Stansted Airport:

  • Crete (Chania) – additional weekly Sunday services operating from 19th July to 27th September 2026.

Manchester Airport:

  • Crete (Heraklion) – additional Wednesday and Friday services operating from 1st July to 25th September 2026, meaning two daily flights available on these days during this time.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said:

“Greece is an enormously popular destination, and it continues to appeal to customers and independent travel agents looking to enjoy some much-needed sunshine. As the UK’s favourite airline and tour operator, we know just how much holidaymakers love these Greek destinations, and we are delighted to be once again stepping in to meet demand. Summer 26 will be our biggest ever summer programme to Greece, and we are cementing our position as the UK’s largest airline from the UK to sunshine favourite by putting on even more flights.”

A Busy Greek Summer

It’s going to be a busy summer for Jet2 and Jet2Holidays this summer, with extra capacity now heading in that direction  of Greece.

And it’s a busy programme, with Jet2 operating to 15 Greek destinations this summer – Athens, Corfu, Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Thessaloniki (Halkidiki), Kalamata, Kefalonia, Kos, Lesvos (Mytilene), Preveza, Samos (new for Summer 26), Santorini, Skiathos, Rhodes and Zante.

In total, over 3.5 million seats will be for sale as part of their summer programme, over 131 routes.

I suspect whichever flight you’ll be on with Jet2 this summer, you’ll find you won’t be on your own this summer.

Sing the song!

No. The human race has enough suffering, and your author and editor singing will add to it
