GhettoIFE makes Photoblog.com’s front page!

03/11/2013 by Kevincm

In the other remaining minutes of my days, as well as writing for GhettoIFE.com, I also maintain my own Photoblog, where all the images I take on trip reports end up (as well as a few other things). And occasionally, my images are taken notice of.  I logged into my account, and found this: Image - Photoblog.com 3rd November 2013 I wasn't sure, so I checked this … [Read more...]

This will allow Delta to roll out full flats on routes between New York and Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Initially, the focus will focus on the heavily contested premium route of New York to Los Angeles, with the entire … [Read more...]

US Federal Aviation Administration rules on Personal Electronic Devices

31/10/2013 by Kevincm

... And it's an interesting read to say the least. http://www.faa.gov/news/press_releases/news_story.cfm?newsId=15254 is where the full release is. The first thing to note is that implementation of the guidance is down to the airline - subject to their own risk assessment. This is actually important as one aircraft may be more sensitive than another. This could mean … [Read more...]

Size does matter in Economy… according to Airbus…

28/10/2013 by Kevincm

Airbus today has launched a major push for airline comfort in economy class (and no doubt a push for sales in its aircraft), with a sponsored study about seat width and a campaign for an 18" minimum seat width. Whilst a lot of us concentrate on seat pitch (the legroom you have on a flight), there isn't much attention to seat width - and this matters as much as it depends how … [Read more...]
