Another part of Jetstar took to the air today with Jetstar Japan commencing service. Emirates to operate double daily A380’s on Dubai – New York

Emirates have confirmed they will be uprating their A380 operations between Dubai and New York JFK. The current service currently operated by an A380 and a B777-300ER will switch to a Double A380 service. There's a bit of a wait to make this change as it's one of the first for 2013.
