Selfie Stick Ban JR West

I admit I hate the things. Those metal poles that extend, might have a mount and turns people into zombies. I am of course referring to Selfie Sticks. a plane flying in the sky

WiFi  (or in-flight connectivity) in planes in Europe can best be described as "patchy" at best, and "hopeless missing" at worse, with limited carriers offering WiFi connectivity aboard their planes on European routes (with Norwegian Air Shuttle operating the most planes with WiFi aboard), and other airlines making token efforts as they dip their toes into the WiFi water … [Read more...]

Birmingham New Street Station - Image, Economy Class and Beyond

Birmingham New Street has been a bit of a joke in the past. I've called it Mordor Haptbahnhof more than once due to how dark and dingy it was. Well, things have changed a bit. In 2013, the first half of New Street was refurbished. Now, they've finished the other half of the construction work. How does it look? Well lets take a look, as I approach the station from the … [Read more...]

Heathrow Express at Heathrow Central - Image, Economy Class and Beyond Inside the Heathrow Express in Express Class - Image, Economy Class and … [Read more...]

United Airlines Boeing 737-900ER with Split-Tip Scimitar Winglets

Firstly, my apologies for the lack of posts this week. It's been one hell of a week in the real world - and it might lead to a few new articles here about IT security and keeping yourself secure on the road. If there any further sign that airlines want to milk more money out of you, lets turn our heads to United Airlines very own Jeff Smisek, who according to Reuters has … [Read more...]

Here was the timeline from getting off the plane to getting on the Docklands Light Railway: Minute Zero: Doors open, and out of the plane Minutes One Through Three: Walk to the border Minute Four: Pass the UK Border … [Read more...]
