More JAL 787 problems – Fuel leak this time

Things are going from bad to worse for JAL and their 787's, with reports today of a second 787 in an incident at Boston. A second 787 suffered a fuel leak incident at Boston, where after the plane left the gate, about 40 gallons (151 litres) of spilled fuel was found. JAL 787 Fire incident at Boston – More trouble for the Dreamliner

It seems the 787's are starting to run into real trouble, as a Japan Airlines Boeing 787 operating a Tokyo-Narita to Boston service has suffered an a fire after landing at Boston. JAL confirms 787 service to Helsinki

Japan Airlines has confirmed it will be commencing a 787 to Helsinki in 2013, with a start date of the 25th February. British Airways and Japan Airlines to commence Code Share/Joint Ticketing Agreement on 1st October

Japan Airlines and British Airways have tied the knot over a Joint Ticketing Agreement/Code Share Agreement between London Heathrow and Tokyo Narita/Tokyo Haneda routes. Reciprocal coding and the JTA commences on the 1st October 2012. JAL to refurb its 777-300ER’s and 767’s

Japan Airlines is preparing to refit some its planes to improve passenger comfort. Firstly, the fleet of thirteen 777-300ER's will have new seats installed in all four cabins (First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy). Jetstar Japan commences service

Another part of Jetstar took to the air today with Jetstar Japan commencing service. JAL Confirms 787 Delivery Date: 25th March

Japan Airlines has formally confirmed that Boeing is due to deliver their first Dreamliner to the group on the 25th March 2012.
