More Snow, More Trouble…

13/01/2010 by Kevincm

If there is one thing the british are obsessed with (and if you’ve been looking at this blog dear reader) is the weather.

The UK has been gripped by another wave of snow, with London Gatwick closed to runway traffic to allow it to be cleared, London City closed due to poor visiblity, with Birmingham International right behind it (at time of writing) and London Heathrow showing heavy delays.

Expect cancellations.

In addition, a severe weather warning has been raised for North-West England, the West Midlands, Wales and Southern England.

Roads are… slushy at the moment, with snow settling. Expect all public transport to be affected.

Freezing conditions will follow – to follow up to ten days time – expect more snow and ice blog entries to follow
