Richard Quest on… Miles.

14/01/2010 by Kevincm

Of course, there are wonder-people like Gary, Lucky and of course Randy Petersen, who are in the millions of miles.

However, some of us are in the mere hundred thousands (or thousands in the case of some programs).  For those of us, we just muddle through.

Although this space might get a bit more crowded thanks to increased perception through George Cluneys “Up in the Air” and of course, CNN’s Richard Quest who put out a good three-parter on CNN’s Business Traveller

  • Airline Alliances (and the joy of airline security)
  • Mega Miles (Including one of the poor reporters Singapore KirsFlyer Blue)
  • The Mileage Run (Featuring the Star MegaDo last year and Up in the Air)

It’s a reasonable set of programs that discusses the ins and outs. Obviously you need to do a lot of your own research to see what programme suits you best, but it’s a good overview.

Viewers will also note some of my familiar sights – including LHR T1 insides,  LHR T1 UA Elite Check-in and of course the ex-BA Star Alliance Lounge (although he does kick off outside LHR T3…).

Of course – Richard Quest is an acquired taste. Or a 3am delirious taste. Depending on your mood of course 😉
