Straw Poll: Who is doing the Lufthansa Senator/FTL Status Match then?

09/05/2011 by Kevincm

By now, you’re aware from other sources about the Flying Blue to Miles and More Status match going on (and if you’re not, head to http://www.more-miles.com/mm_status.php?lg=en&c;= ).

Now the main points of this are:

  • You’ve got to be Flying Blue Silver or Gold to be matched to FTL or Senator
  • You’ve got to send actual evidence you’re  Flying Blue Silver or Gold
  • You’ve got to get your ass in the air and fly a grand total of two segments.

You read that right – TWO SEGMENTS. Or to quote Miles and More themselves

Flying Blue status is matched with Miles & More status as follows:

  • Flying Blue Silver → Miles & More Frequent Traveller
  • Flying Blue Gold → Miles & More Senator
  • Flying Blue Platinum → Miles & More Senator

This promotion is valid only for members of the frequent flyer programme Flying Blue. You must register and provide proof of your current status by 31 May 2011. Registration is only possible online through this website. The decision to accept applications rests solely with

Miles & More. You will be informed by e-mail once your application has been received. You have until 31 July 2011 to take the respective flights (2 segments) to activate your status regardless of the booking class. The usual conditions apply when requalifying for the relevant status. This offer is not valid for members who currently hold the appropriate status in Miles & More and who have obtained Frequent Traveller or Senator status through a similar promotion.

So who is up for this? And what mad plans have you go?

Answers on a response below! 😉
