Heading to Gatwick today? Allow Extra Time.

02/08/2011 by Kevincm

There has been some flood damage along the main London to Brighton line in South London that is affecting Gatwick services

Alas, a burst water main brought the rail service to its knees, flooding the tracks.

Gatwick Express has been slashed to a Half Hour Service (as opposed to every 15 minutes). In addition, services between London and the South Coast are hit with a temporary timetable.

This is going to hit Gatwick Express, Southern, First Capital Connect and some SouthEastern services.

If if you’re heading off to the sun via Gatwick today, allow extra time – or switch to a coach service.
