As seems to be a tradition, last thing before I turn in is to check for app updates to my phone. And lo and behold, United have decided to upgrade their app.

You should try Orange in central London on an iPhone. You would be lucky to get a signal at all – and, if you do, you’ll lose it soon enough and drop the call.
As for UA’s app, the thing which they need to add is the ability to choose seats, seeing as how they seem incapable of keeping 777 seat maps current for more than a few hours.
