For those of you who use Quidco, there are some good cashback deals if you need to book hotels right now.
- InterContinental Hotel Group *** properties cashback rates are up from 7% to 12%
- Accor Group properties are up depending on the property:
- 3% for Etap Hotel, HotelF1 and Formule 1 bookings
- 7.5% for Ibis and All Seasons bookings
- 12% for Mercure, Novotel, Suithotel, and Adagio bookings
- 16% for Pullman, Sofitel, Hotels Barriere, and MGallery bookings
- Hotels.com *** up to 12% cashback
- Lastminute.com *** up to 12% cashback on hotels
So if you need to book hotel rooms, this week seems to be as good as any to save a few extra pennies. There maybe good bonus rates through TopCashBack (I’m not a user of the site so I can’t comment…), but Quidco seems to always work well for me.
These offers run until the 16/01/2012.
As usual with cashback, the money is never guaranteed until the stay is complete, and money is sitting in your bank account/PayPal account. See Money Saving Expert for a good guide to cashback
If you’re not a member of Quidco, please consider using my links to sign up to Quidco***. Least of all when you pass the first £5, you’ll get a £1.25 back as a bonus in your account.
*** Disclosure: Yes, I’m using an affiliate link for Quidco – but rather thank scooping the entire referral bonus myself, I’m sharing 50% of it. Because sharing is good after all. If you’d rather not use the affilate link, here’s a clean link to Quidco

If you don’t have a BAEC bank account, do NOT use QUIDCO, as they will steal your $$.

Sorry you’ve lost out in the past Gene – I’ve had no issues with Quidco for some time (apart from eBay tracking – that just seems as bonkers as usual).
I’ve found the best way of “preventing” such losses is to ensure that I flush my cookies as needed before proceeding to 1) the cashback site, 2) the referrers site and 3) the vendors site.
This way, it’s a clean way for the tracking engine to work correctly (for example, Quidco inserts it’s own IATA number for tracking purposes). Cleaning up before and after keeps the cookies at bay, and your cash in your wallet.

@Kevincm — I think you misunderstood my post. Once your QUIDCO account balance exceeds 25 GBP, you can only receive your cash back to a British bank account (“BAEC account”). Being US based, I have no BAEC account so my 200 GBP or so is now locked in my account forever. The reason I am ticked at QUIDCO is that the only reason my account balance ever exceeded 25 GBP is due to QUIDCO’s error. They had posted IC cash back amounts incorrectly for several months and corrected it through one lump sum, which pushed my monthly payment to over 25 GBP. They refused to help, even though it was their fault, so I am not too happy with QUIDCO.
