It seems it’s that season to cut the routes that are loosing money. Today, Royal Jordanian has confirmed three routes it’s cutting with a further two to come.
The three routes that are being downsized are:
- Al Ain
- Brussels
- Munich
Two other destinations are up for the chop in the Gulf region, although these have not been confirmed yet
Royal Jordanian blames this move on last years “Arab Spring”, and the olde excuse for killing any route – increasing fuel prices.
The cutting goes on, white some routes being reduced in frequency too. Being reduced is:
- Amsterdam
- Colombo
- Geneva
- Khartoum
- Rome
- Vienna
- Zurich
In a statement, Royal Jordanian warn to expect more cuts – based on forward bookings, and a possible reconsideration of the fleet.
As usual, check your redemptions and bookings to see what changes will hit you.
BrewerSEA says
Sad to hear about the CMB reduction in frequency, but not really concerned about the other cuts. (FYI it’s Royal Jordanian, not Royal Jordan).
