China Southern to deploy a 787 to London and Auckland

China Southern Airlines currently operate into London Heathrow and Auckland with an Airbus A330-200. Well, changes are afoot.

Let’s look at the Guangzhou – London service, which will switch to Boeing 787 Dreamliner operation from 27th October onwards:

CZ303 DEPART CAN 09:30 ARRIVE LHR 14:50
CZ304 DEPART LHR 22:30 ARRIVE CAN 18:30+1
 
Service operate Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Booked equipment to 27th October: Airbus A330-200
Booked equipment from 27th October: Boeing 787-8

The service will maintain its 5 times a week frequency and timings, but will switch to a new aircraft.

Auckland’s switch happens a day later, with all services switching over (including an Australian summer increase):

DEPART CZ336 AKL 10:00 ARRIVE CAN 1700CAN 787 146
 
CZ335 operates Wednesday, Friday Sunday
CZ336 Operates Monday, Thursday, Saturday
 
Previous Booked Equipment  Airbus A330-200
New Booked Equipment Boeing 787-8

This will represent Daily 787 service at the low, and 10 787 services a week at the peak period operating between the two points.
