JetBlue has joined the ranks of Delta and Southwest Airlines in not allowing in-flight voice calls to be made according to an article on Runway Girl.
This would include voice calls and Voice over IP calls.

Like a lot of readers, I can see the need for in-flight data via WiFi and to a point, text messaging.
Voice communications however are fraught with that wonderful thing called “privacy” – or to put it another way: would you want to share your deepest business thoughts, private lives with 70-200 plus of your newest friends?
That and there’s enough noise in the air already from those lovely engines. Do you really want someone shouting down a phone to make themselves heard?
Sorry – a bit more peace in the air isn’t a bad thing.
