Video Saturday – Wizz Air low flypast

It’s Saturday again, so it’s time to take to the observation places as we go to this week’s video.

This week, A  Wizz Air Airbus A320 performs a very low pass at the Budapest Air Show on the 1st May this year

How low you’re asking?

Firstly watch this video:

If you notice, the plane is well below the height of some of the buildings.

Now, here’s the pilots eye view of this, and you can hear the autosystems counting down from 4ooft to 300ft… which for a reasonable size aircraft like the A320 isn’t THAT far off the ground.

The A320 involved in the display  is one of the newest to the Wizzair fleet – being an A320 with winglets for improved performance.
