It’s Saturday again, so please bring your seat into the upright position, put your luggage in the overhead bin and stow your tray table.
This week it’s a a video from Southwest Airlines. Whilst they don’t have a safety video per-say, there have been occasions where their flight attendants have been known to go off the script and deliver different ways to deliver the important safety messages that need to be delivered.
This is one of those occasions. See the video below.
Southwest Airlines have been known to do their own thing, and this is an entertaining example of this in action. I am slightly worried that some of the safety messages might have been drowned out in the laughter, but it is memorable… and maybe that’s enough for people to pick up that safety card and read it once in a while.
Its certainly worked well when Air New Zealand fired the opening salvoes in the safety video war.
Still, this is a great effort, showing Southwest Airlines isn’t like the “traditional carriers”.
