Airlines: Keep your loyalty information up to date (One for Virgin Atlantic)

18/10/2014 by Kevincm

Whist it doesn’t matter too much to Virgin Atlantic’s Little Red unit, it is important to keep information up to date. And this can be shown off well with what I found at Manchester Airport.

For fun and giggles, I picked up a Virgin Atlantic Flying Club application form:

… to see this on the back page.Spot the error(s).

Got them?

Well, it’s missing its new buddy and shareholder – Delta. And what’s that in the second row, second, item. Oh, it’s BMI – British Midland International… which hasn’t existed as an airline for 2 years and bit now.

Come on Virgin Atlantic. THESE ARE BASIC MISTAKES THAT CAN MISLEAD A NON FREQUENT FLYER.  And having it on 2-year-old publicity material is just plain lazy.

For an airline that concentrates on image, a rather stupid set of errors…

Even better, that’s not even bmi’s last logo. It changed about a year before their oblivion.
