The Emirates A380 fleet continues to break new ground, with the next destination announced for the airlines type… and it’s Perth in Australia.

Perth is served three times a day by Emirates, and one of the rotations – EK420/421 will switch to the double decker plane. This will provide a variety of equipment for passengers to choose from on this route.

Compared to the existing 777-300ER operated on this route, the Airbus A380 offers an extra 136 seats per flight – a boost of 952 seats each way between the two cities.
The change goes into effect on the 1st May 2015, with seats available for booking:
It’s not an expected move by Emirates to add another A380 t0 a long haul service as the fleet grows. For this long haul service, an A380 is welcome – especially in Economy Class, and for those who like showers in First Class.
