Time for another Snapshot whilst I’m in the air elsewhere – this time focusing on British Airways CityFlyer between Dublin and London City Airport
British Airways operates Embraer E-Jets – today, an E-190SR was rostered for the flight to City
The cabin itself had lots of space… where I was. Yes, I was in row 1A.
Plenty of legroom.
Yes, an Embraer 190SR. SR? It’s a 98 seater plane instead of the usual amount, and its got the software to handle the tricky landings at London City Airport
Believe it or not, I’m in Club Europe. Therefore it’s a BA traditional meal on a short haul leg… yes, it’s a salad. I skipped the scone for a ham and cheese melty thing. I’m more of a savoy than sweet person these days though… so this suits me.
With Monopole Blue top. It could be worst.
The views outside weren’t that bad either.
There was also coffee. Wasn’t too bad at all.
Nearing the 3 minute arrival point, with our plane landing toward Docklands.
And of course, there was the landing at London City Airport… which as we all know is a hoot. I’ll post the video of that in the main trip report.
And from plane to the exit of the airport? 2 minutes. FLAT. And that’s why I love London City Airport.
The full trip report in due time, but as a teaser, find out what goes on at London City Airport in my behind the scenes report

Isn’t it like a 1 hour flight. Seems like quite the meal for this route. Amazing.

1 hour 20 that day. It’s amazing airlines can cram services with time for everything is such as short time. Where as for a sub 300 mile flight in the USA… You get… well.
You know what you get.
