With the UK Bank Holiday looming the TSSA and RMT unions were looking to bring the UK Rail network to halt for 24 hours, starting Monday 25th May over pay with Network Rail – with a national rail strike.
Thankfully the TSSA union has called off its action, whilst the RMT have suspended their action.

With the dispute off, train services by all operators will operate as planned this Bank Holiday Monday (with the expected engineering works which seem to ruin any public holiday in the United Kingdom).
The strike action would had affected the entire rail network, with signallers, maintenance staff and station workers taking part in the action.
Thankfully – the rail strike is off, and as a result you’ll be ducking and diving the engineering works that are schedule during the weekend instead of planning to head home early or catching a coach instead of the train.
This also means for those coming into London’s airports, you’ll be able to jump on a train and not worry about getting back.
Which is always nice.
