Airplane Art – American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER

24/05/2015 by Kevincm

It’s Sunday again, and it must be time for some more Airplane Art.

This week, taxing along its merry way at Heathrow airport is an American Airlines Boeing 777-300ER

American Airlines operate a fleet of seventeen of the largest Boeing twinjet – the Boeing 777-300ER, with a further three to join the fleet.

This will bring the total cadre up to twenty aircraft.

American Airline also had the honour of being the first operator of the Boeing 777-300ER in the USA (With Air France being the first operator of the Boeing 777-300ER).

More Airplane Art next week!

American is the first U.S. Flagged carrier to operate the 777-300ER, but definitely not the first airline worldwide.
