Malaysia Airlines is hurting – lets make no bones about it. It’s changing routes around (with severe cuts in Asia), and is now looking at its route map further afield, with its Kuala Lumpur to Paris Charles De Gaulle route taking a cut.
Currently, the route is operated by an Airbus A380. This will be downgraded from the 4th August 2015 to a Boeing 777-200ER.

The revised schedule operates as follows:
MH020 DEPART KUL 23:40 ARRIVE CDG 06:40+1 MH021 DEPART CDG 11:50 ARRIVE KUL 06:35+1 Operates with an Airbus A380 from KUL until 3rd August 2015 Operates with a Boeing 777-200ER from 4th August 2015 Data: Airlineroute
The booking engine has been updated to reflect the change:
No news has been given about the re-deployment of the A380 as the airline seeks to stem losses and turn itself around.
It’s important to note that these services will switch to a two-class service, with business and economy class only on the planes.
As usual, plan appropriately when travelling. If you still desire Malaysia Airlines First Class – or want to fly aboard their A380 fleet, you’re going to have to connect at London Heathrow…
However, it still provides point-to-point connectivity from Paris – something that shouldn’t be overlooked.
