It’s Sunday again, and it’s time for some more Airplane art.
This week, taxing at Dublin Airport is an CityJet Avro RJ85 on grey summer day as it arrives at the the Irish Capital Airport.
CityJet operate a fleet of 23 Avro RJ85s in their fleet, operating out of their bases at London City Airport and Paris Charles De Gaulle.
Whilst CityJet is examining a replacement for the Avro RJ85 (looking towards Embraer or Sukhoi for its next generation of regional jet), the airline will be operating CRJ-900s on behalf of SAS as it takes over Blue1. CityJet also lease Fokker 50s from VLM Airlines to provide additional capacity.

The coolest plane around- always loved this jet, flew it during its first summer of service with Air Wisconsin in 1983 when it was a BAe 146

Love that hushed silence after touching down. It takes a while to understand the lack of thrust reversers. It does make me happier to see the ground speed drop, eventually.
