The Heathrow Connect service (operating local stopping services between London Paddington to the Heathrow Airport) remains suspended as Siemens engineers attempt to discover what is wrong with the Heathrow Express trains.
Heathrow Express trains have been taken out of service for what has been described as “the foreseeable future” according to Global Rail News.
For now, Heathrow Express services are being covered by Heathrow Connect trains.

So, changes you need to be aware of:
- Heathrow Express is operating with Heathrow Connect Trains.
- Pricing has been reduced to £17 one way, £28 return
- Business First and WiFi will not be available on-train
- If you have pre-purchased Express Saver Tickets at Heathrow Express’s normal rate, you can claim a refund of the difference paid
- If you have purchased Business First Tickets, you are entitled to a full refund.
- Stopping services have been replaced with an hourly service operated by Great Western Railway (vs the normal 2 services an hour)
- Paddington to Hayes & Harlington
Services depart at 03 minutes past the hour, first service departs at 07:03, last service departs at 20:03.
Hayes & Harlington to Paddington
Services depart at 33 minutes past the hour, first service departs at 07:33, last service departs at 20:33. - Connect at Hayes and Harlington for Bus 140.
- Paddington to Hayes & Harlington
- Or switch to London Underground between London and Heathrow Airport on the Piccadilly Line.
With a lack of extra trains, cancellations and changes in services will happen. Be aware, and plane accordingly.
