For those of you who are travelling this weekend on Eurostar, expecting a strike, there’s good news… and that is the strike is suspended.
Eurostar Class 373 at Paris Gare Du Nord – Image, Economy Class and Beyond.
According to the BBC the strike has been suspended to allow the RMT and TSSA unions to get around the table with Eurostar to have talks.
The train company intends to operate its normal service over the summer bank holiday period. There are some cancellations this weekend, so check the Eurostar service status page for changes.
However, with the strike being suspended – it gives a chance for passengers to get on with travelling where they need to.
Let’s hope Eurostar and the unions can sort themselves out and bring an end to this dispute.
