I knew there’s been something missing off the pages of Economy Class and Beyond for some weeks – and that’s the French ATC service going off on strike.
Again.
Paris Orly airport – again, hit hard by French ATC Strike action – Image, Economy Class and Beyond.
The current strike runs from 19:00 CET on 14th September until 06:00 CET on 16th September, with limited traffic over France during this period.
Cancellations and changes to flight programmes have been announced including:
- British Airways
- Ryanair
- Air France
- EasyJet
- Iberia
- KLM
- Delta Air Lines
- American Airlines
- United Airlines
It goes without saying check with your airline before you travel to see if your flight is operating or not.
I’ve lost count of how many times French Air Traffic Controllers have gone out on strike, causing trouble to the European skies.
And to be honest… I’m getting a little sick of it now. As are most of the airlines.
I’m sure that comment would be met with a Gallic shrug as the unions try to fight for what they want.
