For those of you who were hoping the Lufthansa strike is going away any time soon… Well, I like an optimist.
For the realists, you’ll be aware that the Lufthansa by the Vereinigung Cockpit union strike will now drag onto Friday

Thursdays strike will hit long haul, European and German domestic routes – with 912 flights facing the axe.
More worryingly, the strike is now to drag into Friday, with short to medium haul routes that will be hit (mainly domestic and European routes)
Flights operated by Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines are not affected by the strike
The revised timetable has been loaded for Thursday at Lufthansa’s site, and up to date travel information can be found at http://www.lufthansa.com/online/portal/lh/de/flight_services/cti
Fridays changes will be loaded around 12:00CET Thursday.
Yesterday, I wrote that this strike was a mess. Well it’s getting messier by the day.
With 14 strikes since April 2014 unless Lufthansa and Vereinigung Cockpit can agree a way forward, this is only going to go one way…
